Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Vauntico ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and Genesis Founders.

2. Genesis Founder Terms

As a Genesis Founder, you receive exclusive founding member benefits:

  • Permanent Green Status: Your TrustScore healing benefits are locked in for the lifetime of your account, regardless of future pricing changes.
  • Founding Price Lock: Your subscription rate is grandfathered at the founding price for as long as you maintain an active subscription.
  • Priority Support: Direct access to the founding team for feature requests and priority issue resolution.
  • Genesis ID: A unique Genesis identifier (e.g., ZA-GEN-001) that remains permanently associated with your account.
  • Early Access: First access to new features, integrations, and premium services before public release.

Genesis Founder status is limited to 50 founding members. Transfer of Genesis status is not permitted.

3. Service Description

Vauntico provides a Sovereign Creator OS platform that includes:

  • TrustScore: A financial credibility score (0-850) for your codebase based on security, quality, and activity metrics.
  • Phantom Maintainer: Automated nightly security scanning, code improvement suggestions, and trust score healing.
  • Asset Valuation: Portfolio valuation based on your TrustScore, calculated at R50 per point with a 12x annual multiplier.
  • Morning Brief: Daily email summaries of your TrustScore changes and Phantom Maintainer activities.
  • Live Activity Feed: Real-time updates on security events and trust modifications.

4. Paystack Billing & Payments

All payments are processed securely through Paystack. By subscribing, you agree to:

  • Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically on your billing date unless cancelled.
  • Currency: All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise stated.
  • Payment Authorization: You authorize Vauntico to charge your chosen payment method for subscription fees.
  • Refund Policy: Refunds are available within 7 days of initial purchase for annual plans, and within 48 hours for monthly plans.
  • Failed Payments: If payment fails, access may be suspended until payment is resolved.

Paystack processes payments in accordance with PCI DSS standards. Vauntico does not store card details.

5. Permanent Green Service Agreement

The "Permanent Green" benefit guarantees:

  • TrustScore Healing: Daily autonomous repair of your TrustScore at the highest tier rate (150 points/night).
  • Price Protection: Your subscription rate will not increase as long as your Genesis Founder status remains active.
  • Feature Access: All current and future Phantom Maintainer features included at no additional cost.
  • Lifetime Validity: Permanent Green benefits continue for the lifetime of the Platform.

Permanent Green benefits may be revoked for violation of these Terms, including but not limited to abuse of the platform or fraudulent activity.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to manipulate or artificially inflate TrustScores
  • Share your account credentials with third parties
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the TrustScore algorithm
  • Use the Platform to harm, defraud, or deceive others
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the Platform

7. Intellectual Property

Vauntico, the TrustScore algorithm, Phantom Maintainer, and all associated branding are the intellectual property of Vauntico. Your TrustScore data belongs to you, and you may export it at any time. By using the Platform, you grant us a limited license to process your repository data solely for the purpose of calculating and maintaining your TrustScore.

8. Disclaimers

The TrustScore is provided for informational purposes and does not constitute financial, legal, or investment advice. We do not guarantee specific results from using the Platform. The Phantom Maintainer operates autonomously and may not catch all security vulnerabilities. You remain responsible for reviewing all changes before deployment.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vauntico shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding any claim.

10. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation:

  • Access to the Platform continues until the end of your billing period
  • Your TrustScore data is retained for 30 days, then permanently deleted
  • Genesis Founder benefits may be forfeited if cancellation exceeds 30 days
  • We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms without refund

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Johannesburg, South Africa, in accordance with the Arbitration Foundation of Southern Africa (AFSA) rules.
